"Northwest Farm Credit Services hired Bob Gibson- Negotiation Resources- to conduct five sales/negotiation seminars in April and May 2004. We spent several months in 2003 searching for the right person to conduct this training. Our goal was not only to improve sales skills, but also to improve the profitability on each sale. Bob delivered an excellent program that exceeded my high expectations.
Participants in our training programs rate instructors on a 1-5 scale (5= Exceptional; 1=Poor). The average rating for the five sessions was 4.73. This was among the highest ratings we’ve ever measured. One of the sessions was rated 4.95.
Although it is too early to measure Bob’s direct impact on the profitability of our organization; I have seen numerous instances where credit officers are applying Bob’s techniques while negotiating on behalf of our organization. I have no doubt that we will benefit from improved margins and fees as a result of having Bob train our staff. The terminology and techniques Bob uses have found their way into our sales staff’s day-to-day language and thought processes. This is quite an accomplishment considering Bob was in front of each group of employees for only 2 days.
We are very pleased with Bob’s training and are already in the process of booking him for a follow-up seminar to include employees who were unable to attend the earlier sessions."
